Mama Earth has been set up by two mums who want good quality, funky, unique, reasonably priced products which have been produced in a fair trade environment. “Since becoming parents ourselves we have experienced an increase in our awareness of the changing needs of the environment and how vital it is to protect it for future generations. We aim to provide you with products that are environmentally aware through the use of natural, organic, bio-degradable and recycled materials and fabrics; and where these products are kinder to our planet, they are also best for our babies. We understand that although as parents we want what is best for our children, it is not always possible to spend the necessary time sourcing these products. So we have done the hard work for you and brought everything together in one place. Also at “Mama Earth”, being eco-friendly doesn’t mean compromising on style.... not only are our products safe to the environment, they are also funky and fashionable. We would never supply a product that we wouldn’t use ourselves and all our products are tested on children! Fair Trade  We believe wholeheartedly that people should be paid a fair wage for a fair working day and in good working conditions, and have spent a great deal of time trying to ensure that everything we stock has been produced in this way. Wherever possible we source from small companies so that our investment directly affects the communities that need it. On a local level we aim to support our own community by using manufacturers within it, therefore increasing the network of fair-trade awareness within our town. We take every care to ensure that the principles of fair trade are upheld and research our suppliers thoroughly. Organic and Eco Our organic cotton clothing has been made from natural fibres grown without the use of pesticides or other toxic substances. Therefore it is much less harmful to our environment and much kinder to our babies. Organic cotton is so soft next to babies’ skin, this is because the fibres have not been damaged by the chemicals that are used in the producing of conventional cotton.
